The defendant who said that he stayed with his sister at her home in St Brelade when he is in Jersey, stole a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey and a bottle of Johnnie Walker whisky from Co-op’s Grande Marché store at about 8.20 pm on 3 February. He proceeded to leave the shop without paying for the items, which totalled £65.98.
