Lights go on for Fête dé Noué tomorrow evening

Now in its 17th year, the festival will feature Genuine Jersey and Norman French stalls, as well as an ice rink at the Arctic Village at the Weighbridge.

The lights will be turned on in the Royal Square at about 6 pm by pantomime star Paul Lano – who is due to play Dame Tilly Trott in the Green Room Club’s Jack and the Beanstalk production.

Two parades, one starting at Millennium Town Park and the other from Howard Davis Park, are due to meet in the Royal Square for a fireworks display and the main lights switch-on.

Activities are due to start at 4 pm in the Royal Square, with magic performances and live music.
