In what will be seen as a huge boost to the controversial project, which sparked protests and petitions from Islanders last year, finance firm Sanne has agreed to move into the second building of the six-building project. The move means that work on the 69,000-sq-ft block – known as Building Five – can now begin.
BNP Paribas and UBS have previously signed deals for the grade-A office space in Building Four, which is due to be completed in February.
Lee Henry, managing director of the States-owned Jersey Development Company, which is managing the project, also revealed that four more Jersey-based companies were in negotiations for office space in Building Four.
