Visit Jersey on look-out for marketing help

The company, which replaced Jersey Tourism last year, has said it wants to boost visitor numbers to the Island to one million by 2030.

It hopes that a trade development partner will be able to raise the number of visitors by making sure that the Island appears in travel brochures and is presented as a holiday destination by travel agents.

Last year, tourists made 718,000 visits to the Island and spent an estimated £243 million.

Keith Beecham, the chief executive of Visit Jersey, said that the partner would ‘build our industry network in the UK and Europe’.
