Cancer sufferer in court case ‘that is more sad than bad’

The court heard that on 11 August a package was intercepted at Jersey Post’s headquarters addressed to the 37-year old of St Saviour’s Road.

It contained blister packs full of 10 mg diazepam tablets. There were 164 tablets with an estimated value of £336, the court heard.

The defendant admitted importing the class C drug into the Island.
