Roads closed next week

Resurfacing work on a section of St Aubin’s Inner Road is due to begin on Sunday. The work, due to finish on 4 November, involves the section of road between Tyneville Lane and Bellozanne Road being relayed. The road will be closed on weekday evenings between 7 pm and 11 pm and on Sundays from 8 am until 8 pm.

Traffic lights will also be in use between 9.15 am and 3 pm on weekdays, with no work due to be undertaken on Saturdays. Access to premises will be maintained, although this may be restricted when the final road surface is being laid.

Meanwhile, diversions will be in place on the St Helier ring road next week as three projects are started. From tomorrow, Rouge Bouillon will be closed to westbound traffic for works including sewer connection at the old JCG site and Jersey Electricity and Jersey Water projects.

Cars will be diverted via Val Plaisant and Midvale Road and there will be no right turn into Midvale Road from Rouge Bouillon.

St Saviour’s Hill will be also be closed to uphill traffic between Le Geyt Road and Patier Road while the rockface is stabilised.
