Hunt is on for foster carers

As part of the week-long campaign, the Fostering and Adoption Jersey team will set up a pop-up shop in Les Quennevais Precinct on Friday 21 October and Saturday 22 October from 10 am to 4 pm where Islanders can ask questions about fostering or adoption.

Emmy Lindsey, manager for Fostering and Adoption Jersey, said: ‘Providing children with high-quality foster carers and adopters is at the heart of what we do. Our work as a fostering and adoption service means that we help prospective foster carers and adopters through every stage.’

As well as promoting the importance of foster carers and adoptive parents, the campaign also aims to raise awareness of the support available for potential carers and adopters, including the process.
