The 21-year-old, of Clos Gosset, was given a nine-month probation order and was ordered to pay £60 compensation after pleading guilty to damaging the upstairs stud wall in the property at the St Saviour housing estate.
The court heard that the offence took place at about 2.30 pm on 10 September when he kicked out a number of sections of plasterboard in a stud wall that he had paid to be erected in the house.
Advocate Jean Marie Renouf, defending, said that his client regretted his behaviour.
