Greta Chapman won the top prize of £600 after she designed and installed the programme on a 4-by-5 cm pocket computer during the 20-hour Hackathon contest.
She was one of nearly 50 young coders aged 11 and over who competed in the event, which was held overnight on Friday into Saturday at the Digital Jersey Hub.
