Clinton’s dad: 20 mph zones OK, but more must be done

Michael Pringle, the father of Clinton, who died days after being hit by a van in Tunnell Street next to the Millennium Town Park in June, said that reducing speed limits would be a positive step but much more needed to be done to improve road safety in Jersey.

Mr Pringle made the comments after Infrastructure Minister Eddie Noel told the JEP that he and officers from his department had met parish roads committees and the honorary and States police to try to develop a co-ordinated approach to road safety in the Island.
