The 25-year-old punched and kicked a policeman while being arrested in the early hours of 20 August near West’s Centre.
The Magistrate’s Court heard that the defendant was seen outside the Havana nightclub approaching a man in a very aggressive manner and pushing him backwards.
Police legal adviser Susie Sharpe said that officers approached him but he was reluctant to communicate and made several attempts to walk away.
