Mark Temple said the sentencing of five criminals last week to a combined total of nearly 18 years behind bars illustrated the courts’ zero-tolerance approach to drug trafficking.
Of the five defendants sentenced on Wednesday, three of them, had no previous convictions.
The Royal Court heard all three, who were sentenced to 3½, 3¾ and 2¼ years in prison respectively, got involved in their respective drug operations to make ‘easy’ money.
