Chinese lap up Jersey Dairy web promotion

Throughout August the dairy ran promotions on the Chinese versions of Facebook and Twitter – Wechat and Weibo – to promote ice cream sales, having launched the product in the country earlier this year.

Bob Jones, head of marketing at Jersey Dairy, says they now have 4,000 regular followers in China, which is good news as there are plans to export more products to the country in 2017.

Mr Jones says they will be running more social media promotions over the coming months as they prepare to export UHT milk, cream and butter to China.
