Neighbours called the emergency services after being woken up by the noise of the crash, which happened on Route de Maufant in St Saviour shortly after midnight.
The 19-year-old driver managed to escape the vehicle unaided and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
He was checked over in the Emergency Department and released a short time later.
