The Magistrate’s Court heard that the manager of the Beresford Street market contacted the police at 2.20 pm on 23 August to report that a man was being abusive to members of the public.
Centenier Paul Huelin told the court that Mr Bowron was on his lunchtime patrol and located the man in the market with a can of beer in his hand.
