Secret of a long life? It’s in the tea leaves

Phyllis ‘Pat’ Pridmore, who was born in and still lives in St Helier, was presented with a birthday card from the Queen by St Helier Constable Simon Crowcroft at a party with her friends and carers.

Mrs Pridmore, who is an animal lover, worked for British American Tobacco and as an assistant at law firm Bailhache & Labesse.

Her husband, Bob Pridmore, ran the Red Triangle Stores in the Central Market but died in his 50s.
