Samares Manor the place to be on Bank Holiday Monday

Visitors will be able to watch old-fashioned horse-drawn apple crushing and juice pressing in the morning from 10.30, before the ground’s historic threshing machine is fired up at 2.30 pm.

The Samarès gardens will play host to a wide range of stalls offering local produce and hand-made arts and crafts.

Guests can enjoy the beauty of the grounds between 10 am and 5 pm, when there will also be live music from Fiddle and Strum, as well as story-telling from Geoffrey de Pirou and Erren Michaels in the Samarès crypt between 11 and 2 pm, while in the courtyard, the Jersey Morris Men will perform from midday until 12.40 pm.

Admission is free for members of Samarès Manor., £8.95 for adult non-members, £7.95 for seniors and children go free up the age of 16.
