Daniel King (33) was arrested after police raided his partner’s house and found the stash earlier this year.
The police became aware of King during the surveillance of Michael Calvert and Stephen Moore, who were known associates.
He denied any involvement with the pair over the importation of heroin, which was accepted by the prosecution and when interviewed by the police, King, a heavy cannabis user, said: ‘I sell a bit of it and smoke a bit of it.’
He pleaded guilty to possessing MDMA and cannabis with intent to supply and a further count of possessing cannabis.
