Number of UK visitors to new tourism website tops 300,000

Visit Jersey, the body tasked by the States with generating £500 million from tourists each year from 2030, launched the new website – jersey.com – on 9 June.

In that time more than 300,000 UK-based people have surfed the site – an increase of 30,000 compared with the amount of traffic to the old site by this time last year.

Adam Caerlewy-Smith, Visit Jersey’s head of marketing, said: ‘We’re five per cent up on overall traffic to the website compared with traffic to the old website this time last year.
