Ticket sales high for Reasons music festival

The organisers say that ticket sales are significantly up on what they were for last year’s inaugural event, with festival organiser Ben Newman saying that just shy of 1,800 sales had been allocated.

Last year, thousands of people turned out for the 3,000-capacity festival, which will return to Coronation Park on 30 July.

Taking centre stage this time will be 1990s dance music quintet Soul II Soul and British drum and bass DJ Goldie and they will be supported by acts including Dense and Pika, General Levy, Stacey Pullen, The Reflex, Slam, Special Request, Smiths drummer Mike Joyce and MX Zander.
