Jersey ‘likely’ to follow UK’s immigration rules

Last week’s vote to leave means that ‘freedom of movement’ of people between the UK and EU will be renegotiated after the British government invokes Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, which will trigger the country’s departure from the union.

It is widely expected that this will take place in about three months’ time.
