The document, which has been presented to the States, outlines the organisation’s activities for 2015 and shows the amount of new historical material that was taken in.
According to the report more than 2,500 records were appraised before relevant material was transferred, 119 new collections of documents were received from public bodies and a total of 35 cubic metres of material was transferred to the organisation, representing a 46 per cent increase in the amount taken in in 2014.
However, this year marked the end of a two-year service level agreement between Jersey Archive and the States, meaning that cataloguing staff employed under the initiative were no longer available.
