Off the Rails serves Thai food at night and previously had a ‘bring your own alcohol’ policy.
Owner Karl Sutton added that the licence, granted by the Licensing Assembly on Thursday, would give him the authority to disperse customers at the end of the evening.
‘At the moment people hang around after we close,’ he said. ‘If we had the licence they would not be able to do that.’
