Thumbs up for Visit Jersey’s £166k marketing campaign

Visit Jersey, the body which has been tasked with attracting one million tourists to the Island each year from 2030, this week unveiled a new ‘J’ logo to represent the Island, together with a new website – jersey.com – and a one-and-a-half minute advert featuring local people enjoying the beaches and countryside.

Visit Jersey say the new branding is designed to convey the message that Jersey is ‘the Island break’.

The new marketing strategy is a result of months of research involving consultation with tourism industry workers and visitors.

The JEP showed edits of the commercial to Islanders, as well as the new ‘J’ slogan and campaign images, along with the new website. Read their views in this weekend’s JEP.
