Michael Puni sent the text after Alda Candelaria, a senior nurse at Lakeside Manor Care Home in St Peter, found a patient’s regurgitated medication in a rubbish bin, a Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing in London was told.
Lawyer Lara Akande, representing the NMC, argues that Mr Puni is guilty of misconduct and his fitness to practise is therefore impaired – which he denies.
