French fuel supplies are beginning to improve

At the end of last month one in five petrol stations were either dry or running low after strikes and protests launched in response to controversial labour reforms spread to all eight of France’s oil refineries.

In a statement yesterday, Paul Luxon, Condor’s new chief executive, said that fuel supplies have now improved, but urged holidaymakers to ensure that their tanks were full before travelling to France.
