The Val de la Mare festival, which last year was attended by 4,000 people, is due to be held at the same location on 12 June and will feature headlining acts The Levellers and The Charlatans.
And with ‘encouraging’ tickets sales for the festival, which was first held at the People’s Park in 2012 but was cancelled for the next two years, organiser Warren Le Sueur said that Folklore could be extended if this year’s event sells out.
This year’s festival will feature an expanded family zone, including a new bandstand stage and graffiti and street dance workshops by local group the Street Angels.
