Fancy naming Durrell’s new bear cub?

Earlier this year the conservation society announced that the first Andean bear cub in more than 20 years had been born at the park.

Islanders are now being given the opportunity to name the bear, which has now ventured outside its den to explore his surroundings.

The winner of the competition will also be given the chance to go behind the scenes with one of Durrell’s keepers to get a close-up view of the bear family.

To enter the competition click here. A minimum £5 donation is required per entry and the winning name will be announced on 7 June.
