GALLERY: The JEP enters a new digital age

The new state-of-the-art operation is run by KP Services (Jersey) Limited – a collaboration between Kodak and Guiton Group Limited –

The new facility, at Rue des Prés, is home to two Kodak Prosper 6000P press machines and four Hunkeler Combi-Solution newspaper finishing lines, which can produce both broadsheet and tabloid newspapers.

The JEP is now printed in full colour for the first time in its 125-year history.

Manufactured by Kodak, the Prosper 6000P machines will each day print over 35,000 newspapers, which include the national titles to be distributed in Jersey and Guernsey.
