The Jersey Consumer Council is recruiting volunteers who travel on all of the ferry operator’s routes to and from Jersey for its new Condor Jersey Consumer Group.
Anne King, executive officer from the council, said that the group was a ‘great opportunity to move forward’ after the ferry firm suffered a number of technical issues, cancellations and disruptions to services during the last 12 months.
Anyone interested in applying should send a letter stating why they want to be considered for the group, the category of passenger they are and if their work or commitments would allow them to regularly attend meetings and the group will meet on a monthly basis, early morning for one hour. The first meeting is planned for the middle of this month.
