Tourists could get a warm welcome down on the farm

Laurent Coenen (30), who runs Potage Farm, has submitted proposals to build a family home including four attached guest units at the site, which is situated off Rue de Hautier.

Mr Coenen, who completed a degree in agriculture and land management at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire, keeps sheep, pigs and hens, and produces free-range eggs.

He has applied to build a main farmhouse with four bedrooms to enable him and his young family to live at Potage Farm, and to create a guest annexe with four en-suite family rooms designed for use by visitors.
