Emergency services were called at around 9.40 pm yesterday after a man was found in the back of his car at a private property in St Mary’s, the States police has said.
The man has been identified as Johnathon Lucas Ambrose and police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Mr Ambrose is believed to have been walking alone in the area of St Mary’s Parish Hall and school between 7.30 pm and 9.30 pm yesterday.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen Mr Ambrose around this time to contact them.
He is described as approximately 5 ft 10 ins tall with short red hair. Mr Ambrose was wearing blue jeans and a navy polo T-shirt. He was also possibly wearing or carrying a red hoodie top and blue jacket.
