Jersey’s safe reputation helping attract visitors, says tourism head

On 22 March, three nail bombings – two at Brussels Airport and one at Maelbeek metro station in Brussels – killed 32 victims and injured more than 300 people.

And in the most recent terrorist attack in Paris, terrorists killed 130 victims and left up to 368 people injured.

Keith Beecham, the chief executive of Visit Jersey, said that this year more and more people in the UK are choosing to holiday within the British Isles rather than venture further afield.
