Tony Moretta, who moved to the Island last year, said he had fallen in love with Jersey, but that certain features of day to day life needed to be updated.
Speaking at a monthly Chamber of Commerce lunch he told the audience that businesses and individuals needed to maintain a positive attitude and to be less afraid of failure.
