Reform Jersey politician Deputy Montfort Tadier has lodged a proposition calling on Education Minister Rod Bryans not to implement his decision to cut private nursery funding until the Education and Home Affairs Scrutiny Panel has reviewed the issue, and the States has fully considered the proposals.
The report from the proposition says: ‘We believe the proposals should be brought to the States for approval following the publication of the Scrutiny review.’
It also highlights a number of concerns raised by Reform Jersey – the Island’s only political party – about Deputy Bryans’ decision.
