The site, known as Field 785, sits on Rue des Cosnets, and was rezoned for redevelopment in 2014 when the States made revisions to the Island Plan, which governs building in Jersey.
Under the guidelines, the Planning Department says that the site could accommodate between 15 and 22 properties, and that 80 per cent should be affordable homes.
The department has now invited developers and residents to view and comment on their design brief for the area, which is in the green zone.
