The owners of the Harbour Gallery have organised a special ‘relaunch’ party to celebrate and will be thanking volunteers, friends and tradesmen who have helped get the gallery back up and running.
The site sustained heavy smoke and water damage following a fire that broke out in the boat-repair workshop next door on the morning of Monday 7 December.
Pat Robson, who has owned and run the gallery for nearly 14 years, said that Lieutenant-Governor General Sir John McColl and Lady McColl, the patron of the venue, would officially re-open the site at a ceremony on Wednesday 17 February between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm.
