Teenage entrepreneurs battle it out in business challenge

For the first time, students from Haute Vallée and Victoria College have joined their peers from Grainville and Jersey College for Girls in this year’s expanded Channel Islands Student Business Challenge.

Teams from Elizabeth College and St Sampson’s High School in Guernsey have also entered.

Over the course of two months the 40 teams, who will be assigned a mentor from corporate partners Barclays, EY, Ogier or Sure, will develop their business acumen before facing a final ‘Dragon’s Den’ where they will need to impress the judges with their abilities to run a profitable business and or one that will benefit the local community.

An awards ceremony will be held in mid May to celebrate their achievements and to announce the winners of the 2016 Channel Islands Student Business Challenge.
