Several letters of opposition have been sent to the Planning Department after the Jersey Development Company put forward an application for part of its finance centre project.
The organisation said it had resubmitted the already approved plans with a minor boundary alteration in an effort to avoid a third-party appeal from rival developers C Le Masurier Ltd, who challenged the original scheme last year.
However, Liberty Wharf 3 Ltd, the company that manages the shopping centre next to the Esplanade car park, has submitted a formal objection to the JDC’s latest planning application for the site.
