One of the CCTV images shows a brown-haired woman in blue jeans and a black top who is suspected of stealing a bottle of vodka from a Co-op store at 3.15 pm on Thursday 15 October.
The other image shows a man with a pony tail who is wearing grey trousers and a blue top who police believe stole a bottle of whisky from another store between 3.10 pm and 3.20 pm on Friday 9 October.
Officers – who declined to reveal which stores were involved – do not believe the incidents were linked.
Anyone who recognises the suspects is asked to contact the police on 612612 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Alternatively, Islanders can log onto the States police website and visit the Caught on Camera section, where they can enter any information they may have by clicking on the images.
The Crimewatch-style scheme, which was launched last month, currently features images of people wanted in connection with three other alleged crimes, and two bicycles which are believed to have been stolen.
