Your chance to fly in a Junker Ju 52

German airline Lufthansa are offering ten flights in their Junkers Ju 52 aircraft to mark their appearance at this year’s Jersey International Air Display on Thursday 10 September.

Prices start from £220 per person per flight.

The aircraft can accommodate up to 16 passengers, all in window seats, per flight.

Silke Kaden, foundation secretary for Lufthansa, said the Junkers Ju 52 is one of oldest passenger planes in the world that is still flying.

Eight standard flights around the Island, priced at £220 for 30 minutes and £290 for 45 minutes, will be offered on Thursday 10 September and the following day. People will also have the chance to travel to Bray-sur-Somme in northern France.

Trips are priced at £950 for a one-way journey.
