GALLERY: Wrestling legend Tatanka flexes his muscles in the ring

The 54-year-old former World Wrestling Federation star pinned Jersey’s Concorde Adams during a Channel Islands World Wrestling match on Sunday. The CIWW is the Channel Islands’ only wrestling group.

Tatanka delivered his signature move – called The End of the Trail – to claim victory over Concorde Adams in front of more than 200 people at the Merton Hotel.

The American star had earlier teamed up with the 6 ft 5 in Jersey wrestler Squire to defeat Concorde Adams and Yuri Dugganovski in a tag-team match.

The organisers said after the event: ‘It was a great night with a great turn-out, and the crowd really enjoyed it. Tatanka loved Jersey too. We had between 200 and 300 people there – the second show was full.’

In March former World Wrestling Entertainment star Joe E Legend also competed in a match for the CIWW at the Merton Hotel.

The CIWW’s next event, and the last of the summer, takes place this Sunday at 6 pm. Tickets are available on the door. For more information, visit the website.
