Gallery: Spandau Ballet entertain crowds on Saturday

Saturday night was for those a little older, as eighties legends Spandau headlined, receiving a fantastic reception as they belted out their hits for more than an hour and a half.

The show ended on their smash-hit ballad True. For an encore the band played Through the Barricades before finishing their set with the classic Gold.

They were supported by rock band The Feeling, who played hits from their first album as well as a medley of cover tracks from the likes of The Beatles, Blur, Queen, The Who and The Kinks.

The Feeling rounded off their performance with the hit I Love it When You Call, but not before a surprise appearance from singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor – wife of the band’s bassist, Richard Jones – who performed her signature hit, Murder on the Dance Floor, with the band.
