Emergency services attend three road incidents in four hours

The accidents took place at St Clement, Beaumont Hill and St Lawrence, between 10.30 am and 2.20 pm.

The first incident of the day, at Ruelle Des Tours in St Clement at 10.34 am, involved a collision between a car and a motor bike.

The motor cyclist suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance.

At 1.44 pm, a pedestrian was then knocked over close to the roundabout near the top of Beaumont Hill.

The emergency services attended the scene, where the male pedestrian had suffered multiple injuries.

He was stabilised before being transported to hospital by ambulance.

Meanwhile, the third incident, at Three Oaks Garage in St Lawrence, took place at 2.19 pm and saw an elderly gentleman lose control of his car while exiting from the petrol forecourt onto the main road.

The vehicle veered out of control and into a granite wall nearby.

The occupant was shocked but uninjured and was treated at the scene before an ambulance took him to hospital for a more thorough check-up.
