The boxes are distributed to people in the Bihor county of Romania who would otherwise almost certainly not receive a Christmas gift. Shoeboxes are required in a number of different categories, for children aged three to six, six to 11, and 11 to 16, as well as for adult men, older women and younger women.
Mustard Seed Jersey founder Rose Hélie said that, as ever, schools and other organisations, as well as individuals, are being encouraged to pack boxes.
