Durrell chairman: New rules will bring charities into line

The States approved the Draft Charities Law on 18 July and, once it has been approved by the Privy Council, the next stage will be to appoint a commissioner and require all charities to be registered.

Mr Callow, whose ‘day job’ is partner and head of audit at accountancy firm Moore Stephens, has been lobbying for legislation since he came to the Island eight years ago.
