£50,000 gift will help Durrell save six species

The latest donation will help Durrell with their mission of saving species from extinction through the delivery of conservation projects and training Mauritian conservationists.

The funding will be used to support the wildlife charity’s efforts to restore six species of highly threatened reptile, including the Telfair’s skink, orange-tailed skink and Gunther’s gecko, on the network of small islands that lie off the coast of Mauritius.
