Video: A friendly dog is lending a paw at La Moye School

Believed to be the Island’s first ‘school dog’, he will be spending every day during term-time at the primary school working with pupils.

Rafferty, who belongs to and lives with head teacher Jacqueline Bell-Cook, has been going into school since June and is currently undergoing weekly training to become Pets As Therapy qualified.

‘He’s already part of the school family,’ she said.
