The restaurant, run by husband-and-wife team Bradley and Nicola Nicolle, promised to be a family-friendly zone complete with a children’s play area and, by night, a cocktail bar and restaurant.
A spokesman for Sandpiper, which owns the lease on the site, confirmed that the restaurant appeared to have shut although he was unable to give any further details.
The JEP made a number of attempts to speak to the owners but has not been able to contact them.
