Racism complaint? Head for the Citizens Advice Bureau

Social Security Minister Francis Le Gresley said the new law had two distinct areas of application, one being workplace prejudice and the other covering the provision of goods and services.

For example, he said, that might include an instance where someone goes into a hotel and are told that they cannot be served a drink because they are of a particular race.

‘In that instance, the complainant is being denied goods or services and they would complain to the Citizens’ Advice Bureau,’ said Senator Le Gresley
